Klenk & Hoursch continues to grow with Sustainability Communications, Public Affairs and Executive Communications services

Klenk & Hoursch has completed the financial year 2022/23 with a fee-based turnover of 6.95 million euros, an increase of ten percent compared to the previous year. In particular mandates in the areas of Change Communications, Crisis Communications and Issues Management, Public Affairs and Sustainability Communications as well as C-level and Executive Positioning contributed strongly to this positive development. Over the past three fiscal years, Klenk & Hoursch has grown by a total of 40 percent and now employs around 70 consultants in offices in Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich.
"We have invested significantly in our services and methods in order to provide clients with comprehensive support and advice within the transformation of their organizations," said Daniel J. Hanke, CEO of Klenk & Hoursch. "With our Public Affairs office in Berlin, we can now offer integrated Communications and PA services and thus help to positively shape and communicate change in our clients’ organizations. By implementing working methods that allow our consultants to work even more focused, we are able to tackle increasingly complex tasks and projects for our clients in a particularly efficient and creative way."
Klenk & Hoursch wins clients and awards
Klenk & Hoursch won a number of new client accounts in 2023, including Lufthansa Cargo and thyssenkrupp Materials Services. Lufthansa Cargo aims to become the world's most environmentally friendly cargo airline. Drawing from many years of expertise in the field of sustainability, Klenk & Hoursch supports this change and provides services in media relations, social media communication and for trade fair appearances. thyssenkrupp Materials Services, which specializes in international materials trading and digital supply chain management solutions, has entrusted Klenk & Hoursch with their media relations as well as LinkedIn and online communication. Sustainability, executive positioning, and employer branding are also crucial in this context and will be expanded in the coming months.
In 2023, Klenk & Hoursch also received awards for its successful work with clients: the creative communication for MELYE, automotive spare parts manufacturer, was shortlisted three times at the German PR Report Awards and won the "Technology and Innovation" category with 100 percent of the jury's votes. The campaign also won silver at the BoB Awards in the “PR, Content & Influencer Marketing” category. For the successful launch of the Circulon brand in Germany, durable cookware with the innovative SteelShield™-Technology, the consultancy won silver in the "Launch" category of the Digital Communication Award.
